ASSURETECH FOUNDER TO PRESENT AT ONLINE NOURISHED FESTIVAL

HUNTINGDON, Pa.--Joey DiGangi, the founder of AssureTech, LLC, will be presenting at the Nourished Festival taking place online from Sept. 24 to Sept. 26. DiGangi will deliver a presentation on strategies for effective food allergy management. He will also represent AssureTech at the virtual trade show. The company will be sharing information on their food allergy software, the EpiCenter Platform.

DiGangi is a lifelong food allergy sufferer who used his experiences to design the EpiCenter App and Case. His talk at the Festival will share some of the strategies he and his family used to help him stay safe and ready for a food allergy emergency. The presentation will cover an array of topics including: taking proper care of the auto-injector, how to advocate for yourself when sharing your allergy with friends or coworkers and what information you should have immediete access to in case of an emergency.

The Nourished Festival, hosted by Gluten Free Classes, LLC, has traditionally been hosted several times throughout the year in major cities like Denver, Portland or San Diego. "Nourished Festivals allow attendees to sample and purchase new products, meet brand ambassadors, receive coupons and attend educational classes," according to their website. The Festival is migrating to an online setting this year as a result of Covid-19. The online version of the conference will be free to join, and virtual attendees will still receive product samples, coupons and other benefits. Anyone interested in following along with the conference is encouraged to visit: https://online.nourishedfestival.com

AssureTech's virtual booth will feature information about their EpiCenter Platform. The EpiCenter Platform, accessible on the web or through their EpiCenter App, helps users contact emergency services, locate the nearest hospital(s), display a medical I.D. and notify their loved ones in a crisis. The App is free to download, with premium membership options available. Virtual attendees will get an extra 30-day trial of the software using the coupon code provided in the booth.

A premium EpiCenter App membership unlocks additional emergency contacts (the free version comes with one), grants discounts on products from affiliated companies in the in-app and online store and lets a user connect with the EpiCenter Case.

The EpiCenter Case is AssureTech's solution for forgetting the auto-injector. The Case attaches to the EpiPen or Auvi-Q and syncs with their mobile app. It alerts a user if/when he or she forgets their medication behind. The Case is available for preorder right now and will begin limited release this fall. Virtual attendees will get an additional 30 days of free premium membership and save $20 if they order their case at the booth.
