HUNTINGDON, PA.--AssureTech, LLC, Force for Health and Kdan Mobile Software, Ltd. have collaborated to develop software for tracking potential outbreaks of CORVID-19 and create predictive models to help effectively deploy testing and treatment resources to areas that may be in need.
AssureTech, a digital health startup from Huntingdon, Pa., combined much of their existing software infrastructure used in their EpiCenter App (beta version) to build the assessment, and combined it with Force for Health's expansive digital platform, theforceforhealth.com. Kdan Mobile, a global SaaS provider and partner of AssureTech, helped the group build the predictive model.
The software is delivered in a quiz-like format that asks qualifying questions a potential patient would answer upon visiting a treatment facility. The user's answers are calculated on the backend and the program will produce one of four recommendations base on his or her answers: "You're Managing Your Risk Well;" "You Should Take More Precautions to Manage Your Risk;" "You Should Consider Getting Tested;" and "You Should Consider Getting Tested Soon."
The location of a user's response is stored anonymously and creates a model that shows clusters of symptoms ranging from minimum-high-risk. The group hopes these models will help authorities better allocate resources ahead of time while providing advice to users from the safety of their home.
A user who completes the quiz will receive suggestions on next steps and be directed to a selection of resources that include the location of nearby treatment facilities, mental health resources, tips for risk reduction and more.
The program works better when more people participate. Users that complete the assessment are encouraged share the assessment with friends, families and coworkers to collect more information.
Anyone that wants to take the assessment is encouraged to visit:
